[VANILLA] Assassin Cross Sonic Blow and Grimtooth for PVP or WOE

This is my favorite Character so I put alot of time on this build. Actually I've been using this same build for a long time now. Enjoy!




So you think you need expensive gears to kill everyone in the PVP room? No! With this sinx build, you'll pretty much kill everything that moves.

Just a heads-up on sinx, you'll be switching ALL the time. Before attacking, after attacking, etc.

When cloaking, not targeting anyone or pretty much all the time, use your SHIELD! If you have extra money, you could use a combat knife (or cowardice blade) too but that will add an extra key to press. What you'll do is pretty much Sonic blow all enemies EXCEPT LKs and Paladins.

Let's start up with your buffs. You'll need to use Enchant Deadly Poison on this build. You'll need a Soul Linker to Soul Link your sinx to get higher Sonic Blow damage. My favorite elements when endowing my weapon is Shadow (cursed water) and Wind (elemental converter). Just switch between those two. You don't need extra damage. Soul Link + Enchant Deadly Poison is enough.

Wear a Status Arrow (Silence arrow, Stun arrow, etc). It works when you use Grimtooth skill.


The gears I chose are pretty much common gears that add resistance and also those gears that add hit. It's important so that all your attacks hit. One miss could get you killed. So you might be wondering why I'm using a bloody roar. It's not only cheap but it's the best Katar for Vanilla. For high-flee builds like Snix and Snipers, you'll use an extra katar which could be anything with Howard Alt-Eisen Cards (adds 30 hit).


So let's star off with Creators. You'll want to target these guys first because of their painful Acid Demonstratoin. Sonic Blow and they're dead. If they survive, hide and then use grimtooth until they die. Most of the enemies die with one SB.

Champoins. When they set their eyes on you, you're dead. I target these second. Just make sure they're not expecting you when you sonic blow or you'll die with their waiting Asura Strike. If you think they're waiting for you to show up, use Grimtooth instead or Soul Destroyer.

Snipers and Wizards and Stalkers. Sniper's Detect and Wizard / Stalker's Storm Gust will display your Sinx to the public which will make you an easy target.  Don't leave these bishes last. When you get stuck in a Storm gust, your best bet is to hide and then use Grimtooth. It's always like that, if Sonic Blow doesn't work, Grimtooth is next.

Paladins. Killing Paladins are really tough. You could try your Sonic Blow on them hoping they die with one hit or they are not wearing reflect gears (reflect shield is a skill of Paladins which is turned on all the time). I usually estimate the character's gears on his damage on other characters and that's when I choose between Sonic Blow or Grimtooth.

Sinx and Stalkers. A game of hide-and-seek anyone? NO. -_- If you're confident that you could kill this guy without him killing you, wear your Horong Accessory (sight skill) and use sight. This will make you unable to hide for a certain duration which is not ideal. I just let these Character class go.

Whitesmiths and LKs. Whitesmiths will definitely go down with one Sonic Blow but they might have a reflect armor. The reflect of your Sonic Blow damage won't kill you but will damage you of about 9k-11k. If the LK has high hp, you won't kill it with one SB. You could resort to another SB or Grimtooth or run away from it. If they have reflect armor on, they'll Bowling Bash or Spiral Pierce you with one hit after your Sonic Blow. So I usually use Grimtooth on them.

Priest. Those guys are as hard as LKs. Even harder sometimes. I don't bother killing these guys. They won't damage you that much but they might follow you with their sight activated. You'll be open to the public AGAIN. Kill it!!

Other jobs will die with one Sonic Blow. Or if enemies are beside each other, use Grimtooth to damage all of them at the same time. Remember to switch to shield after killing an enemy and before cloaking.

Use Bloody Roar all the time except when facing a high-flee enemy.

PS. Never EVER use a pet.
