[VANILLA] Sniper Double Strafe Build for PVP or WOE

Since most us play Ragnarok for PVP, I made my own Sniper build for Vanilla. And there's also a few tips when playing a Sniper. Hope you enjoy.

So for starters, you'll need really fast hands to last in PVP with a Sniper and also you should be good with decision-making. As a Sniper, you don't need damage resistances. What you need is high attack speed, high flee, high damage and a few status resistance.

You can't be frozen, you can't be blinded, you can't fall asleep, you can't be silenced and you can't be confused. These are the status effects that you should be afraid of. Well there's stun but we can't do anything about that. I always avoid using vit on Vanilla because of Acid Demonstration. And you're a Sniper, you should be untouchable.

So first up is my choice of weapon and headgers. I chose Rudra because of its status resistance. This is the best Vanilla bow weapon you could get. The damage is close to a +10 Composite Bow [H,H,H,Sw]. Ship Captain's Hat is obviously because of the damage. And as far as I can remember, it's slotted. If it is, put a Deviruchi Card in it. Mid gear is with Nightmare (anti-sleep) and a bonus agility. Gangster Mask for additional Silence resistance.

Now let's go to armors. Sniping suit for cast delay reduction and Marc Card for anti-freeze. Shield? Who needs 'em =P Flee on the garment for those pesky assassins that you will miss from time to time because you're busy killing someone else then suddenly from nowhere, BOOM! Sonic Blow! The Boots is obvious, HP and the Accessories are for reaching 184 aspd which is the highest you need for a Double Strafe type Sniper. Even if you go higher, you'll see there's no difference.

Let's go to Fighting! But I want to tell you my rule as a Sniper, Don't Let Anyone Get Close! I always want to mention these guys first because they are one of the kings in PVP, Knights. Hard, Strong offensive, Lots of tricks and could walk up to you while attacking them. Worst part is they have Charge Attack. One thing you should keep in mind is that you should never let enemies get close. You'll have a hard time with this tanker but so long as he doesn't get too close to cast charge attack, you'll be untouchable.

Champions. Guys that suddenly appear in front of you then makes you sleep with one hit. If you have fast hands, you don't need to worry about these guys. Problem is if their hands are faster than yours. You're dead! Though you could use traps. Traps will be your best friend from now on. I know it is boring but once you see how useful these guys are, you'll love them.

Assassins. SONIC BLOW! Ha ha. They will be the reason why you'll run out of sp from detecting the whole place. You'll want to use a trap on this enemy too. This is the job that you wouldn't want to get close to you.

Star Gladiators. No one uses these guys that much but these guys hurt ALOT. Flying Side Kick while heat is on will eat up your sp in a few seconds. Without sp, you're dead. But don't worry. There's a low chance that you'll see these guys on WoE or PVP.

Paladins. Those guys? Just let it go, bro. You can't kill them. With their defender, you'll just waste arrows and sp. Just hope they're not battle type (Holy Cross / Shield Chain). But like I said, Don't Let Anyone Get Close!

Magic Casters. The one that I fear most are those Soul Linkers. If you think they're all buff and no attack, you're wrong. They'll SLOW you, they'll STUN you, and most definitely KILL you. Wizards, Sages, Ninjas, Super Novices, Stalkers, and others that I may have forgotten to mention are easy to kill so not much of a problem. It's more of a First-Cast-First-Kill. So never let them cast a single skill

Creators, they can't hurt you. No vit remember? Just kill those bishes.

Snipers. Now there's your buddy. Should you kill him? This town is not big enough for the two of you. KILL! Usually the one with higher damage wins this war but there are certain tactics to land more attacks on your enemy even if you have the same attack speed.

I don't need to mention other jobs because all you need to do is DS away and always remember to not let them get close.
